A new approach to electronic prescribing
Spacepoint is an electronic prescribing system, designed specifically for use in UK healthcare settings. It is based on NHS standards, using the NHS Dictionary of Medicines and Devices (dm+d) as its primary drug database. Spacepoint is built using web technology, making it easy to deploy and access. It is modular and easily extensible, so that different components can be used in different settings.

Our dm+d browser is free to everyone and contains all the data required for electronic prescribing in hospitals (i.e. dose-based prescribing), according to the NHS dm+d Implementation Guidance.
Electronic prescribing
