Dr Steve Swanson

Steve is a software engineer and an expert in Human Spaceflight with multiple missions to the Space Station as a Flight Engineer and Space Station Commander.  He is currently a Distinguished Educator in Residence at Boise State University.

Planetary Science / Robotic Exploration Advisor

Dr Ben Weiss
 

​Ben is an expert in the formation, evolution, and history of planetary bodies, with a focus on paleomagnetism and geomagnetism, geophysics, meteoritics, and habitability.  He is currently the Robert R. Schrock Professor of Earth and Planetary Science and  Chair of Planetary Science at MIT.

Engineering Advisor

Matt Dethlefsen

​

Matt is an expert in mechanical engineering and has served in a variety of engineering roles including at Telsa, SpaceX, Blue Origin and currently a Responsible Engineer at Stoke Space.

  • Designed and built world’s first actively cooled base heat shield for Stoke Space

  • Led Stoke Space Hopper program from cradle to successful test flight

    • First VTVL of a fully differential thrust vehicle

    • First actively cooled heat shield

  • Designed Blue Origin LoX Be-3U Turbopump
