About the event
Join John Herrington, Commander, United States Navy (ret.), former NASA astronaut and the first enrolled citizen of a Native American tribe, the Chickasaw Nation, to fly in space. He completed his historic mission aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour during the STS-113 mission in 2002, logging over 330 hours in space and performing three spacewalks!
The night starts with John's Talk in the Bruneau Dunes Planetarium followed by amazing stargazing with Idaho's largest telescope 27" open to the general public! Bruneau Dunes is a designated Dark Sky Park ensuring an amazing night of night sky exploration.
